___ The 65th Anniversary of the Clarks’ Desert Boot

Silhouettes ~> Clarks ‘Desert Boot 65th’.

It was a total privilege to work with a group of partners to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the Desert Boot. We all made the trip up to Northampton to see the final samples being made from an upgraded spec that I put together which included the short length stitch down in the iconic ‘Orange Juice’ colored stitching, which was originally inspired by the orange juice that was served to the military officers with their breakfast. I worked with Peter O’Toole in creating some really nice packaging executed by John Conway at Potts. Trickett supplied the heavy vintage socks and Mamnick built some custom crepe eraser cleaners out of Sheffield sourced Sterling Silver.
